בר תרתא עסרי שנין מנשה כד מלך וחמשין וחמש שנין מלך בירושלם ושום אמיה חפצי בה:
bh khptsy amyh wshwm byrwshlm mlk shnyn wkhmsh wkhmshyn mlk kd mnshh shnyn esry thrtha br
Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Hephzibah.

ועבד דביש קדם יי כתועבת עממיא דתריך יי מן קדם בני ישראל:
yshral bny qdm mn yy dthryk emmya kthwebth yy qdm dbysh webd
He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, after the abominations of the nations whom Yahweh cast out before the children of Israel.

ותב ובנא ית במתא דאביד חזקיהו אבוהי ואקים אגורין לבעלא ועבד אשירתא כמא דעבד אחאב מלכא דישראל וסגיד לכל חילי שמיא ופלח יתהון:
ythhwn wplkh shmya khyly lkl wsgyd dyshral mlka akhab debd kma ashyrtha webd lbela agwryn waqym abwhy khzqyhw dabyd bmtha yth wbna wthb
For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he raised up altars for Baal, and made an Asherah, as Ahab king of Israel did, and worshiped all the army of the sky, and served them.

ובנא אגורין בבית מקדשא דיי דאמר יי בירושלם אשרי ית שכינתי:
shkynthy yth ashry byrwshlm yy damr dyy mqdsha bbyth agwryn wbna
He built altars in Yahweh’s house, of which Yahweh said, “I will put my name in Jerusalem.”

ובנא אגורין לכל חילי שמיא בתרתין דרתא דבית מקדשא דיי:
dyy mqdsha dbyth drtha bthrthyn shmya khyly lkl agwryn wbna
He built altars for all the army of the sky in the two courts of Yahweh’s house.

ועבר ית בריה בנורא וענין ונחיש ועבד בידין וזכורו אסגי למעבד דביש קדם יי לארגזא קדמוהי:
qdmwhy largza yy qdm dbysh lmebd asgy wzkwrw bydyn webd wnkhysh wenyn bnwra bryh yth webr
He made his son to pass through the fire, practiced sorcery, used enchantments, and dealt with those who had familiar spirits and with wizards. He did much evil in Yahweh’s sight, to provoke him to anger.

ושוי ית צלם אשירתא דעבד בביתא דאמר יי לדוד ולשלמה בריה בביתא הדין ובירושלם דאיתרעיתי מכל שבטיא דישראל אשרי ית שכנתי לעלם:
lelm shknthy yth ashry dyshral shbTya mkl daythreythy wbyrwshlm hdyn bbytha bryh wlshlmh ldwd yy damr bbytha debd ashyrtha tslm yth wshwy
He set the engraved image of Asherah that he had made in the house of which Yahweh said to David and to Solomon his son, “In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my name forever;

ולא אוסיף לטלטלא ית ישראל מן ארעא דיהבית לאבהתהון לחוד אם יטרון למעבד ככל תפקידתא דפקידתינון ולכל אוריתא דפקיד יתהון עבדי משה:
mshh ebdy ythhwn dpqyd awrytha wlkl dpqydthynwn thpqydtha kkl lmebd yTrwn am lkhwd labhthhwn dyhbyth area mn yshral yth lTlTla awsyp wla
I will not cause the feet of Israel to wander any more out of the land which I gave their fathers, if only they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.”

ולא קבילו ואטעינון מנשה למעבד ית דביש מן עממיא דשיצי יי מן קדם בני ישראל:
yshral bny qdm mn yy dshytsy emmya mn dbysh yth lmebd mnshh waTeynwn qbylw wla
But they didn’t listen, and Manasseh seduced them to do that which is evil more than the nations did whom Yahweh destroyed before the children of Israel.

ומלל יי ביד עבדוהי נבייא למימר:
lmymr nbyya ebdwhy byd yy wmll
Yahweh spoke by his servants the prophets, saying,

חלף דעבד מנשה מלך שבטא דבית יהודה ית תועבתא האלין אבאיש מכל דעבדו אמוראי דקדמוהי וחיב אף ית דבית יהודה בפולחן טעותיה:
Tewthyh bpwlkhn yhwdh dbyth yth ap wkhyb dqdmwhy amwray debdw mkl abaysh halyn thwebtha yth yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlk mnshh debd khlp
“Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations, and has done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, who were before him, and has also made Judah to sin with his idols;

בכן כדנן אמר יי אלהא דישראל הא אנא מיתי בישתא על ירושלם ויהודה דכל דישמעיניה יצלן תרתין אודנוהי:
awdnwhy thrthyn ytsln dyshmeynyh dkl wyhwdh yrwshlm el byshtha mythy ana ha dyshral alha yy amr kdnn bkn
therefore Yahweh the God of Israel says, ‘Behold, I will bring such evil on Jerusalem and Judah that whoever hears of it, both his ears will tingle.

ואגוד על ירושלם ית חוט חורבן שמרון וית מתקולת צרות בית אחאב ואמחי ית ירושלם כמא דמתמחיא צלוחיתא מתמחיא ומתהפכא על אפהא:
apha el wmthhpka mthmkhya tslwkhytha dmthmkhya kma yrwshlm yth wamkhy akhab byth tsrwth mthqwlth wyth shmrwn khwrbn khwT yth yrwshlm el wagwd
I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plumb line of Ahab’s house; and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.

וארטוש ית שארא דאחסנתי ואמסרינון ביד בעלי דבביהון ויהון לבז ולתבר לכל סנאיהון:
snayhwn lkl wlthbr lbz wyhwn dbbyhwn bely byd wamsrynwn dakhsnthy shara yth warTwsh
I will cast off the remnant of my inheritance and deliver them into the hands of their enemies. They will become a prey and a plunder to all their enemies,

חלף דעבדו ית דביש קדמי והוו מרגזין קדמי מן יומא דנפקו אבהתהון ממצרים ועד יומא הדין:
hdyn ywma wed mmtsrym abhthhwn dnpqw ywma mn qdmy mrgzyn whww qdmy dbysh yth debdw khlp
because they have done that which is evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger since the day their fathers came out of Egypt, even to this day.’”

ואף דם זכאי דאשד מנשה סגי לחדא עד די מלא ית ירושלם סיפא בסיפא בר מחובוהי דחיב ית דבית יהודה למעבד דביש קדם יי:
yy qdm dbysh lmebd yhwdh dbyth yth dkhyb mkhwbwhy br bsypa sypa yrwshlm yth mla dy ed lkhda sgy mnshh dashd zkay dm wap
Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, until he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; in addition to his sin with which he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight.

ושאר פתגמי מנשה וכל דעבד וחובוהי דחב הלא אינון כתיבין על ספר פתגמי יומיא למלכי דבית יהודה:
yhwdh dbyth lmlky ywmya pthgmy spr el kthybyn aynwn hla dkhb wkhwbwhy debd wkl mnshh pthgmy wshar
Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

ושכיב מנשה עם אבהתוהי ואתקבר בגן ביתיה בגן עזא ומלך אמון בריה תחותוהי:
thkhwthwhy bryh amwn wmlk eza bgn bythyh bgn wathqbr abhthwhy em mnshh wshkyb
Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza; and Amon his son reigned in his place.

בר עסרין ותרתין שנין אמון כד מלך ותרתין שנין מלך בירושלם ושום אמיה משלמת בת חרוץ מן יטבה:
yTbh mn khrwts bth mshlmth amyh wshwm byrwshlm mlk shnyn wthrthyn mlk kd amwn shnyn wthrthyn esryn br
Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign; and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Meshullemeth the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.

ועבד דביש קדם יי כמא דעבד מנשה אבוהי:
abwhy mnshh debd kma yy qdm dbysh webd
He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, as Manasseh his father did.
21
ואזל בכל אורחא דהליך אבוהי ופלח ית טעותא דפלח אבוהי וסגיד להון:
lhwn wsgyd abwhy dplkh Tewtha yth wplkh abwhy dhlyk awrkha bkl wazl
He walked in all the ways that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshiped them;

ושבק ית פולחנא דיי אלהא דאבהתוהי ולא הליך באורחא דתקנא קדם יי:
yy qdm dthqna bawrkha hlyk wla dabhthwhy alha dyy pwlkhna yth wshbq
and he abandoned Yahweh, the God of his fathers, and didn’t walk in the way of Yahweh.
23
ומרדו עבדי אמון עלוהי וקטלו ית מלכא בביתיה:
bbythyh mlka yth wqTlw elwhy amwn ebdy wmrdw
The servants of Amon conspired against him, and put the king to death in his own house.
24
וקטל עמא דארעא ית כל דמרדו על מלכא אמון ואמליכו עמא דארעא ית יאשיהו בריה תחותוהי:
thkhwthwhy bryh yashyhw yth darea ema wamlykw amwn mlka el dmrdw kl yth darea ema wqTl
But the people of the land killed all those who had conspired against King Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his place.

ושאר פתגמי אמון וכל דעבד הלא אינון כתיבין על ספר פתגמי יומיא למלכי יהודה:
yhwdh lmlky ywmya pthgmy spr el kthybyn aynwn hla debd wkl amwn pthgmy wshar
Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
